Our co-op is affiliated with the Co-Operative Housing Federation of Canada. Our co-op members can access the federation’s monthly newsletter by signing up.

CHF Canada is the national organization for co-op housing and Canada’s connection to co-op housing worldwide. According to their mission and values, they aim to unite, represent, and serve the co-op housing community throughout Canada.

You Hold the Key

Fletchers’ Creek Co-op Homes Inc. proudly supports CHF’s “You Hold the Key” campaign. Immediate government action is needed to maintain rent-geared-to-income housing assistance for low-income households at risk of losing it when federal housing agreements expire. We urge governments to establish and fund long-term, cost-shared rent supplement programs, to be implemented by provinces and territories (and municipalities in Ontario).

Rooftops Canada

Rooftop Canada’s International programs help thousands of families secure affordable housing in sustainable communities. Fletchers’ Creek Co-op Homes Inc. supports Rooftops Canada by donation, which helps them promote the development of co-ops in African countries.

The Ontario Co-operative Association

The Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op™) unites all of Ontario’s English-speaking co-operatives and credit unions, offering education, support, development, information-sharing and celebration. Through cross-sector networking, Ontario Co-op encourages cooperation among co-operatives. Acting as a unified group, Ontario’s co-ops gain greater visibility with the public, government, and each other.

International Co-op Alliance

Fletchers’ Creek Co-op Homes Inc. proudly supports the International Co-op Alliance. Founded in 1895, the International Co-operative Alliance is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to uniting, representing, and serving cooperatives worldwide. The Alliance offers a global platform for sharing knowledge, expertise, and coordinated action on behalf of co-operatives.
